Old Smiddy Cottage is located in the Shiskine Valley on the Isle of Arran, just 2 miles outside the village of Blackwaterfoot, with its stunning sandy beach running along the back of the world famous 12 hole Shiskine Golf Course.
With free parking outside, the cottage has every modern convenience you could ask for in a self-catering holiday, and is the perfect location from which to explore and a short distance from various activities to explore nearby walks golfing, horse riding at Cairnhouse stable and of course the wonderful beach.
Blackwaterfoot also has a village shop, Artisan Bakery, and hotel with swimming pool, bar and restaurant.
The Cottage is available all year round and is also available for short lets with a minimum of 3 days.
